Sun Hot Hot Heat!!!

Sorry folks! I’m not going to be talking about the funky and popular band from Vancouver Island in this post. Maybe another time! (Check out their new song "Middle of Nowhere" via the link!!)

Some of you may have read my previous post,  and you’d remember that I mentioned being new to working out. The one thing I love about working out is that afterwards I can go into the sauna or steam room. I remember how frequent sessions in the sauna has made my sister’s skin feel so soft and smooth….just like a baby’s skin. So, I thought why not give it a go?! However, I found that saunas made me claustrophobic cause I felt short of breath and felt like no air was circulating. So then, I tried the steam room and that was a bit better cause I could feel a little cool cause of the moist air provided by the steam.

So I figured out that I prefer the steam room. However, I wasn’t sure whether this would still give me the same soft and smooth skin my sister got from using the sauna. I then searched online for information about which one is better. I found a website that explained to me how sauna and steam room worked differently and how they benefit us. I’ve provided the link below, however, keep in mind when reading this article that it is provided by a company that sells saunas and steam rooms. I can’t vouch for its scientific merit if that is what you guys are looking for. Hopefully, this will help you learn more about sauna and steam room, that is if you don’t already know about it. As for me, I’m just going to keep using both and see how it goes.
